Why Global Education Matters—Now More Than Ever
Global education is not an “add-on.” It’s a mindset and methodology that equips students to navigate an increasingly interconnected and interdependent world that needs empathetic, critical thinkers. In today’s classrooms, preparing students for global citizenship means more than learning about other countries, it’s about understanding diverse perspectives, addressing global challenges, and building collaborative skills that span cultures and borders.
In my community and beyond, global learning aligns with our efforts to promote equity, enhance cultural responsiveness, and ensure students are college, career, and world ready.
